Senior Associate Attorney Mike Mahurin joined my law firm in January of 2009. Mike is a graduate of Pepperdine University School of Law and has 14 years of legal experience handling real estate, employment, estate planning and bankruptcy matters. Mike was previously an associate attorney in the real estate department of Stroock & Stroock & Lavan and worked in the chambers of the Honorable Robert W. Alberts as a law student. Attorney Sofya Davtyan joined my law firm in February of 2009. Sofya was admitted to the State Bar of California on December 2, 2008. Sofya graduated from USC in 2002 with a major in Political Science and a minor in Law and Society. She received her J.D. with honors from Ventura College of Law. While in law school, Sofya interned at the Van Nuys District Attorney's Office, working on murder and sexual assault cases. Prior to joining my law firm, Sofya worked at Donahoe & Young, preparing bankruptcy petitions and handling probate matters. She is fluent in Russian and Armenian.
